If you think your car seats are beyond help....think again, this seat was letting down an otherwise mint condition Jaguar. This bolster was repaired not replaced.
Drink damaged sofa
BEFORE
AFTER
These two photos show the before and after images of a sofa that had been damaged by a drink of juice being left to stand on the centre seat cushion. During the preparation for fixing this damage the leather where the glass had been standing disintergrated leaving a hole. This was fixed and all three seat cushions were recoloured back to the original colour matching the rest of the sofa, which was given a deep clean and had the leather protection cream applied. The owners, Mr and Mrs Wood of Skegby in Nottinghamshire were so pleased that they agreed to publish their name on this site and would gladly recommend me to future customers. I took the furniture away the day before they went on holiday and returned it on the day they got back.
Green cushion refurbishment
BEFORE
AFTER
As you can see, this cushion, one of 5 was badly cracked and a lot of the top colour had worn off. The customer thought they were beyond repair. The results speak differently.
Sofa nail rip
BEFORE
AFTER
I was called to have a look at what could be done to repair a rip on a sofa arm that was caused when the owner was moving house. As can be seen from the Before picture this was quite a severe tear, and to make matters worse the child in the house had been picking out the stuffing. First thing I had to do was to rebuild the stuffing, then I inserted a piece of backing material so that I could fix the ripped leather to this and effect a repair. As this was a severe rip it was not possible to achieve a completely invisible repair so I smoothed off the repair with some light filler and then applied matching colour and finally a couple of coats of Gloss Leather finish.
Club Sofa Restore
BEFORE
AFTER
This is a Club sofa that the owner had had for nearly 10 years and wanted it recoloured to a light tan. After inspecting the sofa I advised the owner that it was in need of a restore as it had some deep cracking. To do this I had to take it back to my workshop where I stripped the sofa back to the bare leather using the leather Prep and filled in the cracks and smoothed off the creases. A base coat was applied by hand and then the top coat colour was sprayed on. When this had dried and settled I applied 3 coats of PU Satin Leather finish. This was left to 'cure' for 3 days after which I gave it a generous coating of Leather Protection cream to achieve a supple finish. When I returned it the owner was amazed at the transformation and was extremely pleased with the result and is now looking forward to many more years of comfortable use.
