I used the Leather Colourant kit and Flexifil products to restore a set of leather seats I had recently purchased for my Golf Mk4. The seats showed the results of several years of wear and the bolsters were badly cracked. After treatment I am pleased to say that the final results are fantastic – the seats look considerably better and the cracking is hardly visible.
I am delighted with the products – the colour match you made to the headrest I sent you was perfect. The products were easy to use and performed as described. I was surprised how easy the airbrush was to use. I must admit I did use more airbrush propellant cans than I expected, but I see you hire out compressors if needed.
I was particularly impressed with the leather cleaner and protector. The cleaner performed better than other cleaners I have tried and the protector left the leather conditioned with a nice leather smell.
In the future I will not hesitate in using your products to bring life back into our leather suite.

I recently purchased one of your leather colourant kits (extra large), which was colour matched for me. The kit was purchased to renovate an extra large sofa that generally was in a very good state of repair, but which had been damaged by colour transfer from some cushions and from normal wear (children and ivory leather don’t get on!). Just over a year ago, I paid over £250 to have my sofa professionally renovated and whilst I was pleased with the result, shortly afterwards, the colour started to wear away and I was left with a very tatty looking sofa. With Christmas looming and the expense of purchasing a new suite, not an option, I “Google” my way to your website, rang and spoke to one of your advisors, took the plunge and ordered a kit. I admit to being extremely nervous about my purchase, which just over £100 is significant, especially if it turns out to be a white elephant (the cupboard under the sink is full of them), but I am writing to advise you that the results are absolutely amazing. The overall process was fairly time consuming, the process at times tricky (especially the spraying), but the instructions were easy to follow. The whole thing from start to finish took a full day, but none of us have ever tried renovation before and we are absolutely delighted with the results, our suite is literally like new. 28th June 2009 Well..... I bought a cream leather settee and chair four years ago it looked neat for a year, I bought all kinds of cleaners, creams but nothing worked to get it clean, apparently I had bought a first leather, waxed leather settee and chair. Once the wax had been worn away the leather was exposed and just seemed to attract dirt. Leather world said it was character and I should leave it /live with it. By chance I did a Google search and found Furniture Clinic. I bought the extra large colourant kit in dark grey. I also contacted a firm who make loose covers... plan B. They would make loose covers for £700.00 the pack cost me £110.00 (but the company could not guarantee there would not be any slip? Cloth on leather). My sister and I started I had read the testimonials earlier and knew the prep was the most important part, I stripped the old finish off using the solvent and scorer making sure I got everything off, my sister dyed the leather. The first coat looked bad but the subsequent coatings just got better and better, we allowed double the time for drying between each coat (any way the coating showed you when it was ready to be recoated, if not ready the second coat lifted the first). All done, we put four coats on with the sponge. The colour was true and steak free we did not need to spray a coat on to finish. Plus the final coating and sealants were the same we used a soft rag, job done in seconds. I have a new settee and chair!

I bought a second hand leather corner suite off eBay, advertised as 1’1 months old with a few scratches but nothing a bit shoe dye wouldn’t fix. O.k. so you know them adverts where you hear all the good things people say their ‘wonder’ product and you think well of course their going to say that, well that’s exactly how I felt about the ‘leather colourant kit’ well if you want to try it we’ll have a go I said to ‘her that must be obeyed’ bear in mind that I am an expert d.i.yer and a stone cold, pull your hair out perfectionist. The kit arrived and off we went, it’s a massive imported suite with huge sweeping removable cushions that are leather on both sides, we followed the instructions implicitly, and (drum roll inserted here) absolutely unbelievable results were obtained. I cannot stress to you how completely perfectly this kit performed, we were both stunned, so next time I hear or see a testimonial I won’t be so quick to judge. You may recall when I phoned with my little problem just how pleased I was to find that you were a northern organisation. We left the North West in 61 and the strong affiliation remains. Your goods arrived within two days of the call and I could not be more delighted with the product and the instructions with it. The recliner is only 18 months old but I had no joy with the suppliers or any others I could find. I had cleaned a head level soiling – clearly with too powerful a cleaner I quite an area needed attention – almost back to the leather as it was. I received my parcel this morning, ahead of schedule and as it goes I have the day off, I started the process at 8.30 this morning and I have now finished at 1pm. I was re-colouring my car bolster on the driver’s seat and I purchased the medium leather colourant kit after advice from a member of staff after sending in a sample. I followed the comprehensive instructions and when I looked at the finished result it was 95% perfect on 15 year old worn leather seat. I had a very light green leather sofa which had started to lose colour on one arm and one of the seats. I had originally thought about releathering my classic car interior but thought that it would lose some of its character so I decided to try your leather dye products. I was absolutely delighted with the results. I took my time and followed the instructions and I now have a new looking interior while maintaining the original look of the car. We had a blue two and three seat suite from land of leather, about three years old and nicely worn to our body shapes, it’s comfy. We were looking to replace the suite with a black one (why we bought blue in the first place is beyond me) and try and sell the blue one. Anyhow, I suggested we dye our blue one black, my wife gave her usual look of your mad! So I did a search on google, found your site and showed wifey, she said go on then. I thought DOH, now what have I done.
The leather dye kit arrived swiftly so I thought lets crack on. Clean leather with cleaner provided, this was easy, I was surprised how clean it was really, that’s the good thing about leather it stays reasonably clean. Next, the leather prep, I thought I would really have to scrub here but no, just a light rub and the dye started to come off (if you’ve not put the supplied gloves on yet do it now!) This stage took about an hour on our three seater, quick wipe around to remove any dye on the surface, then tea break. Now, the base dye with the applicator, I thought this would be the hardest bit, believe me, this was the easiest stage of all, all done in 15mins and it covers like a dream, looks brand new already. Give it an hour or so and out with the spray cans. Going for the matt finish so just one coat, a bit at a time goes on trouble free and appears to absorb immediately. Now to leave overnight. My daughter turned up in the evening and her first words were, wow, you’ve got a new suit, how cool is that? The waxing the next day was a doddle and an hour later we were all sat on our new BLACK suite, it looks the biz and boy I’m I in my wife’s good books now.

I’m really delighted with the results! The old chair (in my living room) used to stand out like a spare wotsit at a wedding! But now it looks great (in fact – I now wish I had taken some “before and after” pics to send to you.... sorry about that) When I told family and friends what I was intending to do with a leather chair that had originally cost approx £1,000 (and had been owned by my greatly loved and deeply revered father) I was greeted with the old sharp intake of breath and “are you sure?” (The response did unnerve me a lot – to the extent that I was worried that i might be about to ruin a lovely comfy chair) Fortunately, I gritted my teeth, grinded my loins!!!! And got on with it. And am glad I did!!!!! In fact, my elder sister (who had been extremely wary of my “interference” with an emotionally subjective item), had to admit that the chair looked “FABLUOUS”. So much so... that her daughter (my niece) wants to see the chair (she has a cream leather sofa that is looking somewhat jaded) – so please do not be surprised if you receive another order from me on behalf of my niece. I’ve attempted (in the past) to dye leather shoes with “kits”. However, THIS IS NOTHING LIKE THOSE PRODUCTS. I have to admit, it took me a bit of time with the preparation BUT by following your instructions to the letter I don’t have to get rid of a lovely comfortable (expensive) chair simply because I’ve changed my decor AND I don’t have to go to the expense of getting rid of the chair and buying another. I really can’t express to you how delighted I am with my “new” chair. I’m sorry if this email sounds a bit “OTT” but I am sooooooo delighted! But I have to say that I’ve got a “brand new chair” and once again – I’m delighted with the end result.
