Product Description
The leather touch up kit has been designed as a DIY repair kit where you get a base colour and several colour tints. You then tint the base colour to make it match your leather exactly, e.g. if your leather is dark brown, you will get a dark brown base colour plus various tints, which cover the whole dark brown colour spectrum.
This allows you to get an exact colour match to your leather. Once you have the colour, you can then repair the damages;
Scuffs & Scratches: For scratches just colour them in with a paint brush or cotton wool bud. For scuffs, gently sand the leather to make smooth, then dab the colour on with a sponge.
Faded & Worn: If the leather is rough, gently sand it down to make smooth. Then dab the colour onto the area and allow to dry. For areas larger then a tennis ball in size we recommend using the Leather Colourant Kit to make the repair.
Stains & Spills: Nail varnish remover and other strong solvents sometimes remove colour from leather, easily touch it up with a sponge or cover nasty hard to remove stains.
If you are not confident that you can match the colour of your leather, send us a sample of it and we'll match it for you. Please download and print this form, and attach a sample of leather to it. If you are not sure where to get a sample of leather from, read this guide.

Instructions
The first step is to match the colour. Specific instructions for colour matching are provided with each kit to help make matching the colour easier. But we’ll give you a brief overview here so you know how it works.
Start off by applying a small drop of the base colour onto the leather with a cotton wool bud. Let it dry then evaluate the colour. If it is too dark, add a light colour (e.g. white) to the mix to lighten it, and so on. If it needs to be more cream, add a small amount of yellow or tan – you do this until the colour matches exactly. The detailed instructions provided with the kit tell you exactly what to do. Then, once you have a perfect colour match, you apply the colour onto the damage and wait for it to dry to make it blend in.

The coverage the product included in the kit will provide depends entirely on the size and type of the damage it is used for, typically the kit includes enough to deal with many instances of minor damage such as small scratches or scuffs, but may only cover one or two larger areas of wear or staining. Customer Testimonials
29th March 2012 Hi just wanted to leave 100% positive feedback. What an excellent product! It worked on my 5yr old dfs leather corner group, the dye had started to wear off in several small areas and I was going to dump my suite as it looked such a mess, but decided to try your repair touch up kit and wow, it so did the job. Well done on making such a good product!

 | | The bolster on the drivers side seat of this BMW Z4 had become scuffed due to wear & tear associated with use. The colour was matched easily using the red colour kit and sponged on to the leather over the damaged area. As can be seen, once dried the damage completely disappeared, leaving a seat that looks almost brand new! | | Viewing 2 of 2 before & after photos. view all photos
